- University of Chicago Faculty and
Academics are eligible to participate in the OCLC Reciprocal
Faculty Borrowing Program.
- Check the list
of participants in the OCLC Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing
Program to see if the university you are interested in visiting is
listed.
- Faculty and Academics intending to visit a participating
library should contact the ID & Privileges
Office.
- Privileges staff will issue an OCLC Reciprocal Faculty
Borrowing Program card.
- Access and privileges may vary from institution to
institution.
- The lending library determines whether the card will be
accepted for on-site use and/or borrowing.
Faculty from Other OCLC Program Institutions Visiting U
of C
- The University of Chicago Library offers quarterly borrowing
privileges to faculty from institutions participating in the OCLC
Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing Program.
- Check the list
of participants in the OCLC Reciprocal Faculty Borrowing
Program to determine if your institution is a participant in the
program.
- Faculty from participating institutions should contact their
local university library to obtain an OCLC Reciprocal Faculty
Borrowing Program card.
- Bring this card, your valid university ID and a current photo
ID (if your university ID does not have a photo) to the ID & Privileges Office.
- Privileges staff will verify your status and provide you with a
Library Card.
- The Library Card is good for access to the library buildings
and for quarterly borrowing privileges.
