If you can’t find a book or other item on the shelf that has a status of "Not checked out," you can submit a search request by clicking on the "Can't find it?" link in the Lens Search or Library Catalog record for that item. The item's information will be filled in automatically; you just need to provide the item's location (e.g., Regenstein, Crerar, etc.) and your contact information. Or click here to fill out a blank version of the search request form.
Library staff will search for the missing item and contact you via email with the results of the search. If located, we will hold the item for you at the Circulation Desk for that location.
