- Securities Class Action Clearinghouse
- By digitizing and linking the full text of complaints, motions, judicial opinions, and other major class action filings into a Website with its own full-text search engine, the Stanford Clearinghouse offers information that is substantially more detailed and timely than can be found on other services which generally limit their databases to judicial decisions.

- EBSCO Business Source Complete
- As the world’s largest full text business database, Business Source Premier provides full text for over 2,800 scholarly business journals, including full text for nearly 900 peer-reviewed business publications. Coverage includes virtually all subject areas related to business. This database provides full text (PDF) for more than 300 of the top scholarly journals dating as far back as 1922.
- Nexis
- Nexis, available through Lexis.com, is the legendary collection of newpapers, magazines, wire services, broadcast news transcripts, trade journals, and financial analysis. Special strengths: Nexis is worldwide in scope, and covers many non-English language sources; only Nexis has a complete archive of New York Times full text; and databases of news from specific industries, countries, or regions.
- Westlaw
- Westlaw provides news from Dialog Newsroom, which includes the full text of the New York Times and thousands of other sources. The main news file is called ALLNEWS.
- ABI-INFORM on ProQuest Direct
- ProQuest Direct is another important source of business news. ProQuest Direct is the online service of Bell & Howell, a distributor of business and magazine e-journals (ABI-INFORM) and trade journals (Business Dateline). ProQuest Direct has many unique titles, including a growing number academic journals, and offers many articles in PDF format, rather than plain text.
- Factiva
- Factiva has the full text of thousands of newspapers, magazines, business and trade journals. (Essentially all of the news sources available on Westlaw.) A handy feature is "News Pages," which gives quick acces to cover stories and main features from the current issues of the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, BusinessWeek, Barrons, Forbes, and Fortune.

- From 1984 to the present, from Proquest Newsstand.. The Historical Wall Street Journal, from 1889 to 1987, is available from ProQuest Historical Newspapers.

- Factiva - the Companies/Markets section gives you news, financial profiles, and recent SEC filings, and comparisons of financial performance with peer companies.
