For Women's History Month, the D'Angelo Law Library honors Sarah E. Goode, one of the first African-American women to receive a patent from the United States government. She was granted a patent from the USPTO for a folding cabinet bed on July 14, 1885.
Women who made legal history: Patsy Mink
Patsy Mink, J.D.'51, was a political pioneer, a major supporter of Title IX legislation, and achieved many "firsts" as an Asian American woman.
Due dates for UChicago Library materials being extended
