Geographical Abstracts Note

This source has an unusually complicated history. It goes back to 1960, first as Geomorphological Abstracts, then as Geographical Abstracts, then, in 1974, when it assumed approximately its present scope, as Geo Abstracts. The name changed back to Geographical Abstracts in 1986. Most recently, it was been published in two parts, one for human geography and one for physical geography. It was published in seven parts for much of the 1980s. The contents of the parts varied greatly over the years.
