Maureen Moran serves as the Collection Strategy and Research Librarian at D'Angelo Law Library. In this role, she acts as the primary selector for United States legal materials and materials in interdisciplinary subjects for the Law Library, working closely with colleagues in Collections Services, User Services, and Reference Services to ensure that the collection meets the needs of the UChicago Law community. In addition, Ms. Moran provides reference services and manages the Law Library Fellows program, overseeing select student research fellows who work on longer-term faculty research projects.

Ms. Moran received her B.A. from the University of Connecticut, her J.D. from the University of Michigan, and her M.S.L.I.S. from Pratt Institute School of Library Science. She was a litigator in New York for fourteen years before making the switch to law librarianship, and is retired from the New York Bar. She is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries.
