Library winter interim hours, Dec. 11 – Jan. 2

Starting Saturday, December 11, campus libraries will have reduced hours for the winter interim. All library buildings will be closed December  24 – January 1 for Winter Recess. Normal hours will resume Monday, January 3.

Winter Recess (Dec. 24 – Jan 1)

As a part of the University of Chicago’s new Winter Recess, libraries will close from Dec. 24 – Jan. 1.

During this time, electronic resources such as the Library Catalog, ebooks, and ejournals will continue to be accessible online, Library buildings will be closed, and services dependent on building access, including book returns, will be unavailable. Please expect delays as Library staff are unable to process requests due to the closure. You will be able to submit requests for Interlibrary Loan, Scan & Deliver, Paging & Pickup, and Course Reserves; fulfillment of those requests will resume after the closure.
