Cabinet of Curiosities

It is not uncommon for book collections given to the Library to arrive accompanied by other objects. These are often associated with the contents of the collections and sometimes with the donor's personal experiences. This exhibit brings together a selection of the objects-from art to odd memorabilia-drawn from the Library's rare book, manuscript, and archival collections. The exhibit includes Roman coins and Confederate currency, swords and surgical tools, miniature portraits and academic medals, and several locks of hair.
