Marking the dedication of Regenstein Library, this exhibition presents a selection of 109 high spots from the Department of Special Collections. Among them are Byzantine codices of the New Testament, manuscripts of works by Chaucer and Boccaccio, incunables including the Cologne Bible, the Sir Nicholas Bacon Collection of court and manorial documents, Ptolemy's Geographia, manuscripts and letters from the Poetry magazine collection, editions of Vesalius and other early works of science and medicine, first editions of modern English and American literature, and engravings from the Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae.
