Rebecca Starkey

Librarian for College Instruction and Outreach

Rebecca Starkey

I have a MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and graduated with an AB from The College at the University of Chicago with honors in History. I have worked at the University of Chicago Library for 15 years.

My position is focused on developing library services for University of Chicago undergraduates. I help students navigate our rich collections, and guide them to the many services available at the Library to support their academic and professional success.  I am dedicated to working with faculty to teach students about information resources so that they can learn how to use them effectively and ethically.  I invite students and faculty to contact me to learn more about the Library's programs for The College.
