The University of Chicago Library is currently led by Elisabeth Long, Interim Library Director and University Librarian and Associate University Librarian for Information Technology & Digital Scholarship, who reports to the Provost. The Interim Library Director is advised by three external consultative bodies, The Library Board and The Library Council and The Library Student Advisory Group.

The Interim Library Director chairs the Director's Council and works closely with them to provide strategic leadership and administration of the library:

  • David Borycz, Assistant University Librarian for Administrative Services
  • Jennifer Green, Associate University Librarian for Research & Learning
  • James Mouw, Associate University Librarian for Collections & Access
