Exhibition Gallery
The Special Collections exhibition gallery is located on the first floor of the Joseph Regenstein Library on the campus of the University of Chicago.
Exhibitions are free and open to the public and can be viewed during the Hanna Holborn Gray Special Collections Research Center's exhibition gallery hours.
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Visitors who do not hold a UChicago ID are able to enter Regenstein Library to visit an exhibition in the Special Collections gallery by obtaining a visitor pass from the ID and Privileges Office at the left side of the entrance lobby of the Library (photo ID required).
COVID-19 Information for Visitors
Visitors to the Library are required to follow the University’s current COVID-19 guidance. For details, see UChicago Campus Visitor Information.
Before your visit
- Review the University’s required safety precautions
- Conduct a personal health assessment on the day of your visit and prior to visiting
- Pack a face covering and hand sanitizer to use as may be required while visiting
