Regenstein's B Level Bookstacks houses collections on Social Sciences (G, H, J, XXK), Sciences & Technology (Q-V), and General Works, Bibliography, & Library Science (A, Z). There are several large tables in the center of the floor, as well as a few individual tables and standing height desks along its perimeter, all intended for quiet study.No food is permitted in Regenstein's bookstacks.

The Social Work Library reading room is a large open space with a southern exposure of floor-to-ceiling windows allowing for lots of natural light during the day. There are a variety of seating options including couches, a rocking chair, large tables for spreading out your materials, and a pinwheel study carrel. There is also a smaller study area behind the bookstacks with single-user desks. Most of the furniture was either designed or selected by Mies van der Rohe.

The Viewing & Listening Room, located in Regenstein's 3rd Floor Reading Room, contains equipment for playing a variety of audiovisual formats. All equipment requires headphones. Patrons who wish to use Room 307 may borrow a key from Regenstein Circulation on the 1st Floor.
