Health Care for Books

* This exhibit is no longer on display *

The John Crerar Library had created an exhibit illustrating the various forms of "life-threatening" damage suffered by books and journals. Dog and bug bites, water damage and various forms of book mutilations, including highlighting, were on display. Examples were meant to educate users about the importance of protecting library material. There were four cases in total - each dealing with a different aspect of preservation and how patrons can help preserve library resources.
